To upset the trolls!

Every morning on the way to taking DS to nursery I have to go over a very steep bridge, it's also on a bend and on a rural, one car wide road.

After almost running into a car on this bridge a few times I have started to sound my horn as I go over it, to warn anyone who may be approaching from the other side. But every time I do that I think 'but what about the trolls that could be living under there?' and it always makes me think of you guys

Shall I carry on pipping my horn, even though I may be potentially upsetting or disturbing any trolls that live under there?

Yabu, I hate people that do this on corners on rural lanes especially when I am on a horse!

Pom, I'd not be able to contain myself if I had to explain to my insurance company that the reason I crashed into a car head on was because I had my head out of the window shouting "trip trap" to the trolls that live under the bridge!

I went over a bridge the other day which I thought looked perfect for trolls but found I couldn't remember how the goat beat the troll - help?
When little my mum used to tell us to lift our feet when we went over bridges in the car to stiop them getting wet, my granddad used to say it was to stop the trolls grabbing your ankles and dragging you in...caused a couple of nightmares
