Stag Do?

Boyfriend of 6 months was away on a stag do this weekend. I?d kind of buried my head in the sand about what they might get up to. Wasnt bothered about strippers, because I knew the group would be going, and I could hardly expect him to sit outside with a coke and a bag of crisps.

Pretty much left him to it, got a text from his sat morning but otherwise didn?t hear from him. I was enjoying my weekend until I woke up on Sunday morning and saw that he had a new Face book friend ? added at 5am!! It was a girl local to the area where the stag do was.

I was pretty upset because although I knew they weren?t going to be boy scouts for the weekend, I didn?t expect him to be chatting up woman and adding them on his Face book page. The girl was very attractive, probably out of his league to be honest(!), and seemed to have a boyfriend from her FB pics.

I asked him and he said the girl had asked him to take some group pictures and he had added her on Facebook to exchange the pictures. She hadn?t accepted his friends request until 5am and he maintains he was sleeping by then.
I?m now pretty pissed off and giving him a hard time. Am I being unreasonable?

It sounds a) very plausible and b) not the kind of excuse you would come up with quickly. Seems genuine, don't worry.

FullyImmersed · 27/02/2012 18:15

What's a relationship with no trust?

Has he ever done anything before that has broken your trust in him?
If no, then you need to let this go

ilovebabytv · 27/02/2012 18:26

YABVU,

LaBoccaDellaVerita · 27/02/2012 18:28

Well that attitude will have him running for the hills so if I were you I'd drop it shit-hot-quick and start acting like a grown up!

ilovesooty · 27/02/2012 18:31

I think YABU too. Why were you checking his FB page in his absence anyway?

Santa70 · 27/02/2012 19:52

No reason not to trust him. Dont know him very well, but think he would be a bit of a flirt when out with the boys.

I wasnt checking his FB page - his activity comes up on my news feed...x and y are now friends...

Thanks for the views guys. Nothing like some honest opinions to get you to wise the feck up!!!

YABU I thought you were going to say you found the receipt for a brothel!

GrittersWifeAndProud · 27/02/2012 20:27

Receipt for a brothel? Would they give you a receipt?

Gritters I have no idea! Tax deductible?

FredFredGeorge · 27/02/2012 21:36

Of course they would Gritters how else could you expense it? It won't say "Betty's Brothel" on the top though...

(OP YABU but you know that already, relax more!)
