I'm off work atm. Got awful cough, sound like a man, my bones hurt and I generally feel drained. I've been off since Wednesday and have phoned work daily to keep them updated. Today I

First time since I've been off unwell. I said I couldn't make it
Tomorrow as ive
Got worse and she started ranting at me saying she will now have to re-do tomorrows rota which is going to be complicated and she was upset tgat she'll have to work from 12-8pm becuase of my absence. I'm barely ever off sick. I felt like telling her to fuck off!!!

Ha ,getting partner to ring doesn't wash at my work.Have to speak to Line Manager in morning, then phone at 4pm to confirm about the next day.

And Hattieboo the rota isn't your problem. I get this at work, when someone on the phone says "Oh we'll have to cancel your clinic" or " Well that's 3 people off sick now"

If I'm ill, I'm ill. I don't need the 'guilt trip'

If three people are off sick they should really really not want you in as chances are you all have some nasty and contagious bug that if you come in then even more people will go down with it and cause even bigger problems in a few days time!
