Weird how

WhereMyMilk · 20/02/2012 22:08

I know, men on here and everything

troisgarcons · 20/02/2012 22:09

Been a whole day without a 'mil/sil/pil/some Ils looked at me funny/said something funny/did something funny.

blessed relief really that the whole world is harmonious tonight Grin

Feminine · 20/02/2012 22:09

Examples please :)

ThePathanKhansWitch · 20/02/2012 22:10

Yes Sparkling i do, just said on another thread, it's a bit strange lately.

Do you not think it goes a bit weird around school holiday times?.

Trolls, flounces yada, yada.Weird indeed.

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2012 22:10

People starting threads and not coming back to them. I have just got really suspicious of everyone.

The men are quite funny. Grin

Eh?

GentleOtter · 20/02/2012 22:11

The moon is in it's dark phase.

overmydeadbody · 20/02/2012 22:11

Has it?

The great thing about MN is you can make it whatever you want. To me, it hasn't changed too much since the early days, because I just read the threads I want to and hide the rest.

Beamur · 20/02/2012 22:12

I quite like it.

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2012 22:12

If I give examples it will be a thread about a thread. If it's just me (and Pathans) that have noticed that's fine. It does seem like we may have been invaded by schoolkids.

I agree that people starting threads and not returning is annoying - really fucking annoying

Why do people do this? Are they for real or just piss takers? If they are piss takers there are a LOT of sad people out there (sad as in losers!)

Feminine · 20/02/2012 22:15

Oh I see, op fair enough.

I will be on the look-out now! :)

ThePathanKhansWitch · 20/02/2012 22:15

Glad we're working off the same spread sheet Sparkling Grin.

nenevomito · 20/02/2012 22:15

yy lots of weirdness. I am suspecting of some kind of invasion.

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 20/02/2012 22:15

Lots of stirring threads being started and OP's vanishing into sunsets

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2012 22:15

I have been doing lots of thread hiding today.

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 20/02/2012 22:16

Half term is over now.

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2012 22:16

Exactly baby and Hobnobs. Why would you start an AIBU then not bother going back to it?
Like a sort of internet arsonist. Confused

We've got visitors

Oakmaiden · 20/02/2012 22:19

Sparkling - I have reported a couple of the threads you are referring to. Cos I find it suspicious that 2 brand new posters start such extremely unreasonable threads about similar topics and disappear completely from view.

Klaxon definately going off.

But if you want traditional and non weird Mumsnet - di you know that iceandslice has started a new boil thread? Grin

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2012 22:20

Mmmm Hobnobs, well I hope they aren't staying overnight. Grin

OP posts:
WorraLiberty · 20/02/2012 22:20

It's not a recent thing

A lot of people start threads and don't return...maybe a bit more recently I suppose though.

Mind you, some OP's get such a flaming they're probably too scared to return without name changing Grin

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2012 22:21

Thank you Oakmaiden. That's more like it. Grin
