One of my FB friends has just shared this great link.

Four things you do that kill her sex drive

In case you don't want to click/read, let me summarise:

  1. You don't compliment her appearance enough because you've forgotten she is hot. You should tell her how sexy she is, all the time. Women's sex drives are linked to their self esteem and women's self esteem is all tied up in their appearances.
  1. Don't put her under pressure... (Oh, good, thinks I, this article may be going somewhere) ... about whether or not she's having multiple orgasms. (Oh. WTF?) So, hey, stay relaxed and use lots of "playful touching" instead. Like groping her while she's trying to wash up.
  1. Don't use porn as a benchmark (About the only piece of useful advice here).
  1. You're not intimate enough. Small acts of intimacy like hugging and kissing and housework and caring and being thoughtful and pulling your weight in general and not being a nob but hey, they don't mention this are what turn women on, it's not like a switch. And don't expect her to be immediately turned on after your one cursory hug! (Men need to be told this??)

AIBU to think we can come up with better? Grin

Spending all the money, come in from pub drunk stupid, expecting loving. Or go out saying you'll only be a couple of hours at two in the afternoon and not return until after 11 the NEXT MORNING, and expect her to fall at your feet, saying i am so glad your okay, come, let me take you to bed!

Doing the washing up and tidying up your own mess would help Hmm

BertieBotts · 14/02/2012 23:47

Thinking that being poked vaguely at with a drippy erection, in bed, from behind, when trying to get to sleep is in any way romantic.
