DP is working for the 8th day in a row - yesterday he left at 7 an got back at 10pm. I did worthy activity & park yesterday with dc. Wibu today to put them in front of the telly & give them a meal from the freezer? Can't be arsed.

Do it. I'm settling down for a nap on the sofa while DS watches a dvd and DD has a sleep. I too did worthy activities and park with the DC yesterday, and have either been working or solo charge of the DC all week. Run out of steam now!

Enjoy your chill out day :)

randommoment · 12/02/2012 08:55

YANBU. Shove up on the sofa and make room for me!

Latsia · 12/02/2012 08:57

Yes do it. DC are both whining and DC2 is learning to walk and constantly being pushed over by DC1. I am shattered already. You are doing well. I will even make you a Brew.

RillaBlythe · 12/02/2012 09:15

Yay!

YANBU

It's important that you find time for yourself so chill out a bit today. Smile

ohyouBadBadkitten · 12/02/2012 09:38

It will be good for dc to rest too Wink

grobagsforever · 12/02/2012 09:39

Do it. Eight days is a long time.....how old are DC?

KittyFane · 12/02/2012 09:56

Do it!
I'm doing the same here although DH is not away.
He asked me what (me and DD) are doing today and I have replied that I am doing nothing! (most weekends he pleases himself whilst we arrange to see friends/family)
He's just chuntered something about going to the park with DD :o

Oneofthechildlessones · 12/02/2012 09:59

Do it - I am nannying for my charge 24/7 this week and we are on strict orders to chill this morning - so movies are on, and I am chilling on MNet Grin

comedycentral · 12/02/2012 10:04

Slow cookers are great for lazy cooking days! Do you have one? YANBU btw!

HaveYouTakenLeaveOfYourCervix · 12/02/2012 10:10

we had a Day Off yesterday. It was lovely. crisps, popcorn, sweets, pizza and DVDs and Board games. Did us the world of good.

spenditwisely · 12/02/2012 10:21

Absolutely - don't cook anything, sandwich is fine. But take/put DCs out so they dont get cabin fever and make your life hell.

ohbugrit · 12/02/2012 10:28

I've just woken from the aforementioned nap and can thoroughly recommend it add a course of action. Now to throw together Nigella'a chicken and chorizo stew for the ultimate lazy lunch! Then if I'm feeling up to it I might fold some clothes ... I'll see how it goes Wink
