Facebook friends choosing to use their stati/walls to communicate with their husbands/co-habiting partners.

It's just so 'Oooh look at me- I've got a boyfriend!'

I take it you haven't?
Got a boyfriend that is....

tentative123 · 10/02/2012 20:52

I do this all the time. Im fine with it.

mumtofour · 10/02/2012 20:54

facebook can be an exciting arena if you feeling positive...a depressing arena if you not!

5inthebed · 10/02/2012 20:55

A friend keps updating her status with:

X is all snuggled up on the sofa enjoying some wine and a film with my darling fiance Y.

And all I can think of is, it can't be that great if you feel the need to be facebooking it.

TastesLikePanda · 10/02/2012 21:02

YANBU - it gives me the irrits...

But it's not as irritating as two of my 'friends' who are this close to being dropped off the list who post endless stati of 'FML' and 'I hate my life today' or some cryptic reference to hating a former friend (thy have fallen out with)

But... but... BUT ...

They then wait until they have a dozen or so replies of 'what's up hon?' and 'do you want to talk?' then they post 'Don't want to talk about it'

Arrgh!

elvisaintdead · 10/02/2012 21:05

Yeah it' annoying - usually posted by people who have nothing interesting to say

MoneyBunny · 10/02/2012 21:44

I get more annoyed with people who always write really positive updates only for the sake of letting people know they're positive people.

'Oh it's snowing again! I love the snow and the happy smiles on the kids faces when we all play in it together. I know you might not appreciate the snow as much as I do, but hey that's me! Now for a cuppa!'
