Dh has pluresy and hasn't slept since yesterday the cat is also asleep on my lap I have my feet tucked under dh legs ( they were cold and as He is running a fever they toasted up nicley) I know there is a mint areo in the kitchen but if I move dh might wake up ..... He is in a lot of pain the drugs don't seem to be touching it.

I could also make a cup of tea while I am out there ..... wibu to.risk waking him

I have been with him for 12 years and Never seen Him so sick and in pain ;-( He even asked me to call out of hours doc at 11 last night and we have spent a fortune on prescription cost ( I nearly Needed drugs myself when I found out how much they cost )

I must attempt to train the cat the fetch chocolate ;-( and to shut the bloody window

For Heaven's sake! Pleurisy.

I do feel for you though. I hope he'll be better soon. It will be overcome.

aldiwhore · 09/02/2012 22:26

Poor your DH (and you!).

Get up. Its for chocolate after all.

You can buy one of those NHS pre-paid prescription card things (your chemist will know) its £27 for 3 months and covers ALL prescriptions. My DH has bought on recently for his pletherer of minor ailments that require prescriptions.... he gets all his repeats over 3 months (last him a year) and saves us a fortune.

CoffeeDog · 09/02/2012 22:34

I will get one of those then we have paid over 30 already sorry for the spelling.I knew it wasn't right ;-%

I made it off the sofa ever soo slowly ;-) the cat rewarded my efforts my bringing me a live mouse to Chase about in the kitchen..... felt quite sorry to chuck it back outside in the snow ( puss just catches them dosnt hurt them and then releases them in the house)

Dh still asleep ;-)
