My oven has been warming up the kitchen for at least an hour, I will go and do the washing up soon. I must. My sister is coming for coffee and we have no clean cups.

It's my sister's fault it is not done yet she posted 'I played with mommy and I played with daddy now I wanna play with youuuuu!' on my FB wall and now I am afraid of things under the sink waiting to slice open the backs of my ankles [pathetic emoticon]

I am too cold to open the door for the cat. She needs to exercise anyway

Dh and I are going away for the weekend tomorrow ( first time in years without the children)

I have been arsing about ALL morning drinking tea, browsing on the net, walking from room to room thinking about all the things I have to do [hmmm]

I have been so excited all week but cant seem to get motivated today. I dont know whats wrong with me.

I how so much to do, sort out all of our bags, animals, housework.I need a kick up the arse.

I am too cold to put pants on, I'm still in my dressing gown and I don't want to move. The payoff of having warmer legs compared to how cold I'll be when I have to move to find some damn pants, isn't worth it.

Been ill since Sunday this house has only been tidied by dh, housework will be there another day

I am currently cold enough to be seriously considering having food delivered to the school with instructions to my 3 youngest DCs to just hide in the biggest cupboard until it's time to go back to class tomorrow. That way I don't have to go out into the even colder icy rain and sleet to collect them. I am also Very Very tempted to take them to the pub for tea, and text DH to pick us up on his way home from work. The only problem with that is that I have no money and would risk the mega-humiliation of my card being rejected while the DCs whine and everyone sniggers :(

The tea will stay warmer (and so will you) if you put it in your tummy.

I had a British shower. All stiff upper lip and that.

Jumped in, washed, jumped out to a freezing bathroom and did star jumps.

I probably have hypothermia but by God sir, I feel British.

I had my jimjams on til 2.15pm today. I am a bit too cold to do the hoovering, and definitely too cold to clean the bathroom prior to guests tomorrow.

I am warm enough to sit here on my arse fending off toddlers and drink tea with my friend though.

i am feeling mighty smug... i have made up for yesterdays sluttishness by tidying out the cupboard under the stairs.

so far i have found:

the lost tribe of Nwonga-wonga,
enough small change to pay off the debt of a small munincipality
approx 3000 paintbrushes in various states of gluey painty putrification
one shoe
one welly ( that wont fit anyone in this house)
three one legged dolls
enough ahem 'liberated' office paper to repaper the whole house
seven calculators
18 boxes or part boxes of christmas cards
a conker

In the process of decluttering i have got rid of one wheely bin of recycling and one binbag of non-recycling.

When it's cold is the only time my house does get cleaned! I do the housework to keep me warm......
