...... DD's and DH to do some stuff around the house. All I want is just once.....JUST FUCKING ONCE... to not have to ask for stuff to be done.

I leave the house at 6.40am and return at 6pm with another two hours work to do. I am not the bloody fucking domestic staff

I know exactly how you feel, I have DC aged13&14 who thought everything was MY job, even though I left for work at 7am, got back at 5:30 and then had to do washing, ironing, pack lunch, cook dinner, more washing....the list goes on. Have DH who did nothing(admittedly he does get up at 4:30am for work and picks up DC after school but still...)

I called a "family meeting" (v.cosby show lol)

Now DC Hoover and unload dishwasher in morning, take it in turns to unload dishwasher, put away etc every night and even know how to put a wash on :)

DH cleans up (most days) the bathroom and puts away laundry (kind of) and takes it it turns to do pack lunch.

I still end up with a lot of work to do put at least it feels like everyone is doing a bit.

Just tell them it's all too much and assign them jobs to do.
I wanted everyone to notice I was doing to much and offer to help as well but realistically its never going to happen is it?

Would they follow a rota? By 14 your DD is definitely old enough to do pretty much equal shares in chores with you and your DH.
