I saw a man who lives in my street whom I know to be in receipt of benefits and he actually smiled! It was totally brazen visual display of happiness.

Does he not realise that benefit claimants are only entitled to three facial expressions and they are 'downtrodden' 'guilty' and 'pathetic gratitude to the taxpayer.'

I think that for the unemployed to have a second of joy in their life, however momentary is a personal slap in the face to hard working people and their hardworking families and not to mention their hardworking pets.

But has he sat on job seekers for 11 years and have the full sky package?

I kept seeing thread title and thinking 'what the fuck is a benefit man? Is it a fuck buddy or is it one of those horrible threads about benefit claimants' imagine my joy!

I honestly think he may have been smirking , although myself who has a partner who works (his bollocks off actually,for minimum wage no less), may have raised a smile at a thread earlier, but I don't work yet so I did suppress it.

I did allow myself a half smile for the years I worked before I had children, but I felt too guilty and turned into a frown.

I did think of smiling, due to the work I will due in future, but lets face it we can't live on credit now can we, broken Britain and all.

You realise that from now on, you will be expected to be looking sick at all times, never smile and FGS don't ever get a job or you will be expected to instantly give up your DLA because you don't need it if you're working.

YABU this kind of judgement is just disgusting. I bet it wasn't a smile at all but a grimace of horror which had been frozen onto his face by the minus 15 temperatures in his hovel, despite having burned his 42 inch plasma for extra warmth. It was probably warmer out on the street and he spends his days trudging up and down being forced to run the gauntlet of Daily Fail readers taunting away and seeing them SMILE as much as they want. It's nothing but cruelty. I bet you lot take your smiling for granted, but that could be you tomorrow grimacing instead...
