Handed in notice as my hours were being cut, today my collegue and I ended up not talking,I left very upset as probably did she ,now been asked not to leave by my other boss who is being very accomadating in trying not to lose me.

I feel very awkward as I walked out, mainly as I was hurt dont know whether to go back now.

The job is not glamorous, but fits round my ds,and I dont need to worry about childcare,on the other hand I could look for something else and then have to pay out for childcare, and I'd be out of work.

Have alot of important things coming up and dont know what to do,any advice?.

What did you argue about with your colleague?

Are you asking should you not try to negotiate with your bosses because you've falled out with her?

We did not fall out, I simlply handed in my notice and things just became awkward after that ,we normally get on but ended not talking to each other, because she would be left on her own at work.

I would go back and see what your bosses can offer you.

If you leave the job without somewhere else to go, it'll leave you in the lurch.

At least hear them out and try to get a bit more for the time being, it'd be a bit awkward asking for a reference from them if you've walked out wouldn't it?

Thanks I will Agent go back, not looking forward to it though.

Thanks again.

I can imagine what it's going to feel like, but it sounds like you're such a good worker they don't want to lose you!

Everyone does stuff they regret once in a while, the main thing is to do the best for you and your family Smile

Good luck (not that you'll need it)
