to hate adverts on apps for children?

Had a very sweet colouring app for DD 3 and there was a big advert across the bottom which she then accessed Angry

I don't mind paying for apps but I do like to have a tester first, then I know if DCs age 10, 8 and 3 will actually play them!

Are there any Android apps (games, books etc) without ads on them?!

TIA

You have to pay for the ad free version AFAIK, you can't get something for nothing IME.

Do the adverts disturb the game?

noblegiraffe · 29/01/2012 20:35

They're free because of the ads.

Does your phone have an 'airplane mode'? This disables the wifi, 3G and phone so even if they click on the ad it won't be able to open anything.

noble I never knew that about airplane mode, thank you!

Don't mind paying for apps if anyone has any good tips...
