God help me, toe-curlingly awkward conversation right now with my DSis and can't take it. Her PFBness is through the roof, her competitive claws are out and sarcasm just can't break her down. Help!

Come on, what is she saying?

Anniegetyourgun · 28/01/2012 00:32

Just say "that's nice, dear" at suitable intervals and meanwhile think lovely, beautiful thoughts about anything else in the world in space.

Only don't go looking up any threads on Classics. You'll snort with laughter at the wrong moment, she'll suspect you weren't listening properly and there'll be all hell to pay.

most folk are a bit pfb-ish :)

store up the crackers to wind her up with when she comes back down to earth.

lebof think "happy nephew knows everyone's name and all the children and parents know his name because they talk about him at dinner, even the nursery staff say he's their favourite, and he's so advanced for his age, but when people say its because he's at nursery I say no because some children there can't speak yet and they're older than him blah blah blah" HappyNephew is 20months old (as I was also reminded of - and yours couldn't do anything nearly as fantastic as that at that age...)
