Why does it rake men so long anyway?

YANBU

SoupDragon · 24/01/2012 09:35

YABU.

I made this mistake last week and had to shout for DD (6) to bring me some from upstairs.

Having said that, I wasn't in there for 20minutes so you're not unreasonable wrt the time sent in there.

SoupDragon · 24/01/2012 09:36

spent in there

yabu - only as I often don't realise that there is no loo roll before it is too late

fullofregrets · 24/01/2012 09:44

My DH disappears in toilet for 30 mins or so and then always leaves just one sheet of toilet roll balanced precariously on the dispenser so that he doesn't have to bother changing the roll.

DoesNotGiveAFig · 24/01/2012 10:17

Where is the toilet roll? I keep mine under the bath, with one roll on some shelves in easy reach of the toilet just in case of this! Our housemate is a nightmare for the old "leaving a sheet draped" scenario. They also use FAR too much. I mean, it got to a point where a roll a day was being used, and me and DH were out at work all day, and she was out at uni for at least half an hour (seriously, she's never in! They don't seem to put any lectures on at all).

ComposHat · 24/01/2012 10:48

If someone uses the last piece of loo roll they should replace it, nothing worse if you get caught short and the loo roll holder is empty of shit tickets. So your partner, if anyone should be narked.

Why not keep several rolls of bum wad in reaching distance from the loo?

Wrongmoreoftenthannot · 24/01/2012 11:02

He is the only one who uses that toilet so his responsibility IMO!

Having said all of that I just got caught short too thanks to just grabbing the roll that was in the bathroom for him this morning Sad The new big bumper pack was downstairs Blush

BullieMama · 24/01/2012 13:13

The same can be said for towels why would you have a shower without organising a suitable towel first, he stands there like a puppy in the rain shouting for a towel , muppet, your a grown man sort it out!
