to ask you which bloody JD Bug?

i am fed up with buying cheap scooters and them being broken within a fortnight- we have a pile of them. Am going to take a deep breath and shell out for a JD Bug

There seems to be hundreds of different 'styles' and versions!! I cant find anything anywhere which tells you which is designed for what and who. So can I ask you? I know it should probably be in parenting, but its so quiet there;

My DD is height/weight of a 10 year old, real age of 6. Will be using it for 'commuting' and in the skate park/ramps etc

Not cheap at around £50 but all fully adjustable and will last years

I bought my DH a JD BUG for his birthday. I got it new off Ebay from an Ebay shop for only £29.

It carries up to an adults weight.

The stunt scooters are more expensive, as they have to be more robust for doing tricks etc. They don't fold either. But if your DD is going to be doing stunts on it, it would be better to shell out on the more expensive type.

My DH is well chuffed with his non-stunt scooter and it's putting up with his 13 stone weight fine.

I got my 6 year old the jd bug pro street 3.0 for Christmas and it's absolutely fantastic.

Very solid scooter and the handle extends so it should see him through to teenage years.

Really recommend, plus it's on sale sor less than 50 quid at the moment.
