Is it unreasonable of me to feel upset, scared. The optitions as just told me I have a PINGUECULA on both my eyes. A cloudy, yellowish raised bump on the whites of my eyes.

She assures me these are very common

But how common, she says there is no treatment i just have to live with them.
My eyes are very red and dry at the moment so she sgiven me some drops and i have to go back next week.

Anyone out there got this or heard of it before?

Maybe you should re-post this in the 'General Health' section? Might get more people there who have heard about it.

Also, if you're very worried about it you should ask your optician how common they are, or research it more online.
