Bloody bloody bloody DH!!!

He has been studying for a degree alongside a full time job, he is heading for a first class degree, or a high 2:1 at least given previous results. If he gets a first, he gets his MA fee's paid for.

He has his final exam tomorrow morning and has been putting off revising until today, I have been pestering politely suggesting he gets on with it for the last week. He comes home today to find our internet is down, none of the websites he needs are working, but some are (google, Facebook etc). After attacking trying to fix the router he has stormed out to go to the Uni library to do his revision.

I packed him some food to take and thus far have avoided the only phrase running round my head, it would be really mean to point out that if only he had listened to me he wouldn't have this problem, right??

I'm just irritated with him, its a 20 minute drive to the library and he's going to have to pay to park and he wasted loads of time trying to make it work when he faffed for most of the weekend!!

Aww your poor DH. He has definitely been an idiot but we've all done the same as him - it's almost a requirement when studying to procrastinate to the last minute and then end up in deep shit. No need to gloat, he'll have learned his lesson! Why not buy him something nice for dinner instead, go on. Hope he gets on ok tomorrow, poor lamb.

aww, you are much more understanding than me clearly, i just can't wait until the day before, anything could go wrong!! I have ordered him takeout which will be waiting when he gets home :)

Glad to hear it :)

My DH was notorious for only reading his text books/notes just before, he was so laid back !!!!
and he'd pass

whereas I'd get worked up, have notes and books all over then decide the oven needed cleaning Hmm

is dh a grown man able to take responsibility for himself? then why are you on his shoulder about studying. people need to be motivated to study usefully. he has no doubt been studying hard throughout the process, cut him some slack.
