A Krispy Kreme doughnut for breakfast?

Lovely boss was at Luton yesterday so has bought 2 boxes in for us.

I practically inhaled it.

(((((Krispy starved Scotland)))))

Sounds perfect to me.

fuzzypeach1750 · 16/01/2012 08:55

Sounds like my breakfast :) going for the chocolate dip dip now Grin

bagelmonkey · 16/01/2012 08:56

Did it have jam in it? If it did, I'm pretty sure it counts as one of your 5-a-day.

SarahStratton · 16/01/2012 08:58
Envy

We don't have Krispy Kremes in Lincolnshire.

Kayano · 16/01/2012 09:00

I have never had a Krispy Kreme

SarahStratton · 16/01/2012 09:05

They are nectar. :(

Catsmamma · 16/01/2012 09:05

oh......i have not had a Krispy Kreme since July :(

Geordieminx · 16/01/2012 09:06

No jam, just icing, but that's one of the 5 too surely??

This is so a stealth boast. Grin

We don't have them in Scotland either, which is why they are so wonderfully beautifully delicious!

I live in Krispy Kreme devoid Lincolnshire too, which is why no trip to London is complete without buying a mixed dozen from the stand at Euston station before catching the train home.

There are also Krispy Kremes at Tesco's near my Mum's house.

imoanruby · 16/01/2012 09:12

YABVU to have only eaten one - two boxes and you only had one?!

I would have to steal one and sneak off to eat it alone ask if there were anymore going spare!

iliketea · 16/01/2012 09:14

If you only ate 1, then YABU. I would suggest 2 or 3 may have been more appropriate. EnvyEnvyEnvy

Geordieminx · 16/01/2012 09:37

There are another 9 begging to be eaten but I shall resist. Am dieting so 1 doughnut is probably all most of my kcal allowance for this week today

imoanruby · 16/01/2012 10:15

As far as i am aware KK boxes do not have any calorie information on, if the information is not there then in my mind it does not exist and therefore all KK doughnuts are calorie free Smile

brighthair · 16/01/2012 10:19

We never had a shop near me. So every time I went to the dentist ( in another town) I would buy 2 to eat on the way home Blush probably totally defeating the purpose of going to the dentist Grin

tyler80 · 16/01/2012 10:23

YABU krispy kreme doughnuts are rubbish, vastly overrated with a price tag to match

Fo0ffyShmo0ffer · 16/01/2012 10:24

Yabu. They are Not Nice.

fluffy123 · 16/01/2012 10:42

It's protein so that's fine!

ChiefPotterer · 17/01/2012 16:08

Yum - I love sweet stuff at breakfast, pain au chocolat, almond croissants, so, so nice washed down with hot coffee.

MrsSleepy · 17/01/2012 17:13

We don't have much in Lincolnshire SarahStratton!

akaemmafrost · 17/01/2012 17:37

I live in London and when I read threads like this I am just Confused and Shock.

How do people manage without things like Krispy Creme? I could walk five minutes in any direction from where I am sitting and find any variety of Krispy Kreme I so desired. Obviously that's not the only thing that keeps me living here. Also I was staying at my parents in the Midlands recently and it appears that in their area NO CHINESE TAKE AWAYS DELIVER! Yes you read that right, you actually have to go and PICK IT UP YOURSELF!
