When I go to my friends house we sit on opposite sofas with nerd guns and fire them at each other. Childish especially as we don't let the DCs play but fun

We have Nerf wars. We build bases and everything. DS1 is only 3 though so it's mostly just DH and I! All the darts have vanished though. I think my MIL may have hidden them.

Bloody horrible things. I once had the misfortune to be in a car with a boy who shot me and my DD with the foamy bullets. They do hurt.
Their dad is of the disinterested/worn down school of 'stop that now X' without actually doing anything.
They do bruise.
