I love Sheldon :o, he reminds me of my Aspie DS with his obsessions and rigid routines, I'm always in stitches watching it. Howard creeps me out a bit though.

DS has Sheldon like tendencies. I'm hoping he does end up as amusing but slightly worried about the agreements he will make me sign!

Yes Leonie, that's why my DS shares a lot of his tendencies with him, but it doesn't make him any less attractive.

I read a thread recently and a few posters had mentioned that the 4 main characters all seemed to have asd traits.

And I think Raj has selective mutism!

I'm not sure he is supposed to be autistic.

I used to teach a girl who was an elective mute. We had some very interesting non-conversations we me trying to coax her to say something!

Apparantely the producers deny that he has autism, but I think it is glaringly obvious, I thought that maybe they were worried about any backlash from disclosing that he is supposed to be autistic but I'm not sure what that backlash would be

Sheldon is such a great character.. although all the geeks are brilliant and Penny works so well with them.

My son introduced Big Bang Theory to me, and The Inbetweeners - such fantatic shows around. How fun would it be to have a Big Bang meets Inbetweeners; what a dinner party.

I used to tut at DH when BBT came on. Then I started to watch it and love it.

Love the Inbetweeners too teahouse. Not sure Sheldon would cope with any of them though.
