I know he's a bit weird, but I like geeks and am one myself. I think he's hilarious and really quite yummy!!

I love him. Prefer Leonard though Blush

AntsMarching · 11/01/2012 19:36

YANBU. I don't fancy him, but he is my favourite. I agree that he's hilarious. Can't stand Howard, far too creepy!

YANBU. I don't have that sort of thing for him...however I do want a Sheldon that I could keep at home. Like a pet. Wink

You even had to ask if it was unreasonable??

startwig1982 · 11/01/2012 19:38

Howard's far too skinny and creepy... Plus he doesn't have a doctorate! Grin

Oh my i totally Love Sheldon, i wish Leonard would just cut his hair that flop on top is so annoying.

raj is phoarr

Ihatecbeebies · 11/01/2012 19:41

I love Sheldon :o, he reminds me of my Aspie DS with his obsessions and rigid routines, I'm always in stitches watching it. Howard creeps me out a bit though.

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 19:43

I love Sheldon. I also love his 'girlfriend' Amy Farrah Fowler. (aka Blossom)

MudAndGlitter · 11/01/2012 19:45

DS has Sheldon like tendencies. I'm hoping he does end up as amusing but slightly worried about the agreements he will make me sign!

LeonieDelt, what has that got to do with anything??? Confused

startwig1982 · 11/01/2012 19:50

I know; it doesn't make him any less attractive!!

OP posts:
Ihatecbeebies · 11/01/2012 19:51

Yes Leonie, that's why my DS shares a lot of his tendencies with him, but it doesn't make him any less attractive.

I read a thread recently and a few posters had mentioned that the 4 main characters all seemed to have asd traits.

Ihatecbeebies · 11/01/2012 19:54

And I think Raj has selective mutism!

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 19:55

I'm not sure he is supposed to be autistic.

I used to teach a girl who was an elective mute. We had some very interesting non-conversations we me trying to coax her to say something!

OP posts:
Ihatecbeebies · 11/01/2012 19:57

Apparantely the producers deny that he has autism, but I think it is glaringly obvious, I thought that maybe they were worried about any backlash from disclosing that he is supposed to be autistic but I'm not sure what that backlash would be Confused

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 19:58

Whatever Sheldon is or isn't I find him very endearing. Soft kitty, warm kitty........Grin

teahouse · 11/01/2012 19:59

Sheldon is such a great character.. although all the geeks are brilliant and Penny works so well with them.

My son introduced Big Bang Theory to me, and The Inbetweeners - such fantatic shows around. How fun would it be to have a Big Bang meets Inbetweeners; what a dinner party.

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2012 20:01

I used to tut at DH when BBT came on. Then I started to watch it and love it.

Love the Inbetweeners too teahouse. Grin Not sure Sheldon would cope with any of them though.
