ask what gadget you have had which are pointless

watching stephen fry 100 gadgets and was thinking, what have i bought that has been totally pointless.

potato peeler, mandoline for slicing hard boiled eggs and I have never had a pedometer that actually works - oh and once my mum gave me an egg separator.

a rice cooker... it was used once and then relegated to the back of the cupboard where it stayed until I found someone else daft enough to want one..

Pineapple slicer - used it once and it just mangled the pineapple, leaving spines still in it.

Plastic thing to put a loaf of bread in to make slicing it easier, as soon as any pressure is applied the ruddy thing falls apart.

Salad spinner. I only bought it because the girl in the flat next door tme knocked on the door late one night crying as she hadn't met her catalogue money that month and was there anything I wanted. I was a sucker.

Oh, and a push down chopping thingy from one of those dire parties which your so called mates run to extract money from you to buy shite.

Heated scraper thing to plug into the car cig lighter and clear ice from the car windows.

By the time the scraper thing has heated up the ice has defrosted anyway!

Well a week ago I would have said the ice cream machine that I got for Christmas but we have since discovered that it can be used to make frozen margeritas so I like it very much now.
