DH and I were making lunch in the kitchen and DS was playing with his toys in the dining room. When we can back in to the living room, DS had been in there (the dining room and living room are joined by a door) and got one of those polystyrene boxes that an ornament had come in out of the cupboard (Christmas ornament so we were keeping the box!) and shredded it to make snow.
He was sitting on the floor with a look of utter joy on his face, throwing handfuls of polystyrene in the air, and said, "look Mummy, I made it snow!"
Now my DH was not overly impressed, I however thought it was actually rather amusing and really quite sweet.
So, am I being unreasonable not to be cross, and just a little bit amused, or is my DH being a grumpy pants?
