to ask how many Librans use AIBU to assist their decision making processes?

not a thread about a thread, more a thread from a thread.
Are you Libran? Do u feel you need more help to make decisions than the average Jo? Do u even believe in star signs?
I have always been either indecisive or rash and find AIBU invaluable when it comes to thinking things through (under various guises depending on the subject matter).
I was struck on another thread by the responses from some fellow Libran lovelies and wonder if it's just coincidence or if there's more to it?

have we just conditioned ourselves that as Librans we are 'supposed' to dither hither and thither or is it beyond our control?

No. I take a while to decide something but I usually get there on my own. I quite like to discuss things but it's really just to run through the ideas or issues out loud.

Can 't imagine ever using AIBU for that!

I generally avoid AIBU, it's a bit harsh for me. Only go near it when I have PMT.

I tend to work in the same way jinglebellledamesansmerci . I don't always get the chance to run things by people in RL so I do find AIBU helpful in that it helps me to see things from all sides , although I'm pretty ok with seeing others' pov sometimes emotions etc get in the way and cloud my judgement, then I lose all faith in my capabilities!

Haha wynken yes it can be a tad harsh but that's where I really appreciate it..... I can be a tad harsh myself in RL and most of the people around me are very nice and far more gentle then me. it's hard to get a good gripe going on because I have surrounded myself with decent folk whereas I'm an angry old hag!

Tbh, I've only posted a couple of light hearted type threads in AIBU. I do admit to having found mn, in general, to be helpful to me in the past. Nothing specific but I've read threads, both the op and the answering posts, read the points made by posters, some of which haven't occurred to me, and have transferred those points of view to any situations that I've had to make a decision about.
