Not an AIBU, but need urgent answer to appease 4yo DS. I have meticulously erected the bastarding HW wall track, but simply cannot get the cars to go round the loop the loop.

Could an MNer ask a handy child and tell me so we can avoid meltdown (me, not DS TBF).

maybe your walls at a funny angle? not sure what a hot wheels wall track is so if i am making a tit of myself assuming it is some vertical track that props against a wall let me know lol

Mini it sticks to the wall. Cars then fly down, hurtle round a loop the loop and fire off the end.

I've got a successful beginning and end, but my cars just rock sadly in the bottom of the loop the loop.

It is a soupçon frustrating.

It's a long time ago now and before the wall track was invented, but I still remember the sight of cars rocking sadly in the bottom of the loop of different types of tracks.

Is it possible to increase the angle of the track leading to the loop the loop so that the speed of the car entering the loop is faster?

You need a fairly steep angle on the slope and a smooth entry to the loop so the cars keep as much momentum as possible.

Does anyone remember the Hot Wheels Dinosaur? I still feel Angry just thinking about it. Sad
