to really want a nap?

I've been working nights until yesterday morning. I was up at five this morning to do the supermarket shop for Christmas. I have loads to do, put the tree up, ice the cake, sort out loads of stuff, cook somethings ahead etc.....
But all I want to do is lay down on the sofa and have a sleep. Would it be completely impractical to do this bearing in mind I probably won't wake up till four o'clock??

Xmas Grin

I'm a great believer in jobs fitting into the time available to do them. Have your nap, you'll feel much better and the you can make a judgement on which things HAVE to be done by you, which can be done by someone else, and which can be totally left ...

That's me convinced. Thank you all!

zzzzzzzz

Definatly do it. I was in the dreaded supermarket at 6.30am and didn't sleep well last night.

All the shopping is put away and I'm currently under a duvet on the sofa. Smurfs on the tv for the children.

We still have tonight and tomorrow to make gravy etc.

Night night.

Are you up yet?

PaintedToenails · 23/12/2011 17:21

Hehe. Yes, thanks, had a lovely nap, roused myself about 2ish!
Suppose I should go ice the damn cake now!

Ok, is the cake iced? Is it, is it?
