To think this Facebook status is completely pointless and annoying?

Do it for all of us, for no one is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my friends just for moral support. I know someone will!! I did it for myself, and a friend xxx"

Yes, I know I could just hide it, but it's already annoyed me.

But there are hundreds of these running at anyone time. Just variations on a theme. I've only ever just ignored them. Why has it annoyed you so much?

All fb posts are annoying and pointless. You need to stick to MN, where we only post interesting and important things

I have to say that none of my friends - not one -ever posts bollocks like this. I've never seen this outside of MN. Maybe you need some new friends....

I have been off FB for a few months for a break. Went back on again a couple of days ago. Within 24 hours had un-registered again.... I just can't be bothered with some of the usual innane postings at the moment and despite being a fairly active user in the past, realised that actually life without FB is a lot better!

Fucking FB. Full of irritating people boasting about their kids or playing bloody imaginary violins for cancer/disability/poverty etc etc, like it actually helps anyone. Pathetic. I now have some 'friends' that are ranting about muslims and immigrants and trying to get me to give money to the armed forces. Culled immediately.

Can you tell I hate FB?

If it wasn't for inane shite, fb would be a barren desert of nothingness.

Even my DM posts those awful "repost this if you have a daughter who is the angel of your heart" barf-fests.

I like to tell her to get a life, on said status update, just to keep it "real". Lickle angelic pwincess? Hardly!
