I bought DS (11) his first mobile from Tesco Mobile for Christmas. Whilst deciding what to buy, the livechat person said that the phone was capped, so he couldn't go over the £15 a month contract. Brilliant, I though-and ordered it. Now I've just logged into the account and it's not capped! I rang customer services who said they can offer me a £25 a month capped tarrif, but they can't give me the same deal. They still do the bloody deal online though which is crap. As I'm within the 14 days period, I can return the other one and wait for a new one to come, but that won't come before Christmas so he wouldn't have anything to open!
The deal is good-5000 texts, 750 minutes, 500 MB data (will he go over this??) and I can check online regularly to make sure he doesn't go over but I now wonder if I should ruin his Christmas and send it back for an exchange??
