As I am unwell and have been all week.

Baby is still asleep in bed after keeping me up most of the night.

Middle child was due to stay home today anyway.

Oldest child is only just 5 year and is complaining of an upset tummy.

It is so darn cold and snowy out there.

Thinking of keeping oldest at home dose with calipol and enjoy a day where we don't have to slog through the bad weather four times on foot pushing double buggy, while I try hard not to throw up at the side of the road.

I am normal tough mummy and any complaints of illness are ignored and the child taken to school for the teacher for a verdict on illness.

Tell me I am NBU to take one day off whilst we're ill ?

Don't try and kill yourself off completely, YANBU!

You are ill, no one should be going in.

oh goodness yes, you're probably saving yourself from picking up 5yo early when he/she voms all over the school.

Stick on The Snowman and snuggle. Hope you feel better soon.

Yanbu. Don't get dressed Smile.

We have a pj day every other weekend. It's as boring as hell and I get cabin fever, but the kids are always happy mooching about the house and I get lots of things done.

Goolash · 16/12/2011 10:39

yanbu

We're all sat in the sofa in duvets Xmas Grin with snotty noses and coughs. If I were working today I'd have dragged myself, the kids probably would have survived school. We're borderline cases, I'm not working, stuff it.

Yeah, just had text from school (automatic to all parents) asking to pick up kids early as the weather is so bad. So I did the right thing staying at home :)
