Not really aibu but need to vent.
Can't believe what I did last night. Sent a text to my friend, but used her landline number in. error. T mobile delivered it by calling her at 04.15 this morning!! Have apologised, but still feeling really guilty for disturbing her sleep. Calls at night are usually bad news so scared her as well. Do you think a small gift in apology is appropriate?

I wouldn't get her a gift. It's a mistake. I'm sure she was asleep within minutes again.

You didn't do it on purpose and you have apologized.
I'm sure your friend wouldn't want you to give her a gift as an apology.
Try to stop worrying about it and enjoy your day.

omg you awful terrible person!

i would advise her to terminate your friendship forthwith - and plaster it all over Facebook telling everyone what an evil cow you are!!!!

Arf, my best friend accidentally does this on occasion, but he has dyslexia so I get all manner of bizarre unintelligible calls from the automated Tom Baker Grin
