That's protein, isn't it?

DuffyMoon · 14/12/2011 12:40

nuts are very beneficial...and calcium in the chocolate...practically a health food really

belgo · 14/12/2011 12:40

Xmas Grin I adore the M&S ones.

GrimmaTheNome · 14/12/2011 12:42

Ok so long as you balance it up with a chocolate orange, I suppose.

DreamsOfSteamingHotMincePies · 14/12/2011 12:42

I believe the whippy bit is low fat. sounds like a well balanced meal to me

wahwahwah · 14/12/2011 12:43

And a packet of Kettle chips - cheese and onion. So that's got to be at least two of the major food groups covered.

DiscoDaisy · 14/12/2011 12:44

YABU
A handful or two of chocolate raisins would have been more beneficial health wise. They're part fruit! Grin

Lightofthemoon · 14/12/2011 12:44

oooooo I LOVE them, isn't it cruel how they only come in packs of 3 - you can't just eat one with the other 2 winking at you Xmas Grin

wahwahwah · 14/12/2011 12:47

Actually M+S have the two 3-packs for £2 offer on right now. Guess what lunch was yesterday?

And the mystery of my ever widening arse deepend...

I haven't had a walnut whip for years. I might have to take a detour on the school run and get one...For the nutrients you understand...

thousandDenierStocking · 14/12/2011 12:51

Did you burn calories by tunnelling into the whip with your tongue? Proper aerobics, that

fluffy123 · 14/12/2011 12:52

Can't decide if I prefer M&S walnut whips or their big fat white mountain bars ( like a toblerone).

wahwahwah · 14/12/2011 12:54

Take both and do a taste test.

OP posts:
VFVF · 14/12/2011 12:55

Only if you bite a hole in the chocolate in order to lick the whip out first. Otherwise YABU Grin

fluffy123 · 14/12/2011 12:55

In the name of research that is a very good idea wahwah.

valiumredhead · 14/12/2011 13:01

I start from the top and work my way down - the thick chocolate base is second to none imo!

GoingForGoalWeight · 14/12/2011 13:04

YADBU - have 6 at least next time Xmas Grin

wahwahwah · 14/12/2011 13:05

They do a tin of nine I believe

OP posts:
SpagBollyandtheIvy · 14/12/2011 13:07

They used to have a walnut at the bottom as well as the top < nostalgic>

GoingForGoalWeight · 14/12/2011 13:09

Xmas Shock walnut at bottom aswell as top? ooooh we need a MN petition to bring those back :)

(and Cadbury's coconut Boost in the red packet) Xmas Grin

valiumredhead · 14/12/2011 13:09

Really spag? I have been scoffing them since the 70's and I have never come across one at the bottom! Grin

wahwahwah · 14/12/2011 13:13

And Banjos and MInt Cracknell and Supermousse.

OP posts:
caramelwaffle · 14/12/2011 13:15

Yes. Yes. It is protein: all of that whipped egg white and those nuts.

You need at least ten to build yourself up wahwah

Fact.

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 14/12/2011 13:17

I have never had a walnut whip.....they look a bit small! Mind you, 3 for lunch, maybe I will give it a go :)

SpagBollyandtheIvy · 14/12/2011 13:20

Maybe not the m&s ones. But the ones I used to get in 70s and 80s from the sweet shop deffo had 2 nuts. The whips came in singles (plastic wrapped),3's in a line, or 6s in a hexagon. Blue for milk chic, red for dark.

Sadly DH has nut allergy so haven't partaken for a while

valiumredhead · 14/12/2011 13:23

So does my ds spag - I feel really sad he will never shove his tongue into the whippy stuff - I have to eat them when he is at school!

They are small betty that's why you need to eat 3 Wink
