Oh I just realised I've posted in AIBU Blush - it was supposed to be a frivolous yet dull chat thread.

My brother likes things like that... I wonder if he's noticed/thought of it? Grin

Pendeen · 13/12/2011 16:42

Unless you are an American of course, then it's 12/13/11.

The American silence for "9/11" is, by UK reckoning just 2 days before Armistice Day!

KurriKurri · 13/12/2011 16:46

Yes Americans are missing out on this gem of a date, because they do their dates the wrong way round Grin (apologies if you are American Pendeen)

My ds was born on 12/12/00.

Next year he will be 12 on 12/12/12.

Love dates like that!

KurriKurri · 13/12/2011 17:01

brilliant mumatron - hope he had a nice birthday yesterday (co incidentally it's my birthday today - which is the only reason I know what the date is Grin)

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDoom · 13/12/2011 17:03

It's no4 son's birthday today and we missed the date thing completely! No3 son had his birthday on 11/11 this year, but he wasn't 11 so it wasn't the "triple" so to speak though.

KurriKurri · 13/12/2011 17:07

PomBear I think your DS4 and I are going to have to wait now for twelve minutes past one in 2013, when we can have 13:12 13/12/13 Grin

I know a little boy who was born at 03:04 on 05:06:07.
Was more exciting than the actual birth Xmas Grin

mumatron · 13/12/2011 17:20

Oh my! Dd was born on 06-05-04 at 3.20am Shock if only I had managed to push her out a minute later!

Happy birthday kurri

mumatron · 13/12/2011 17:22

actually it may have been 3.25am

MistletoeAndPinot · 13/12/2011 17:26

I have a good one of these -

My 3rd child was born on 03/03/03.

I felt soooo smug about how neat that was and I still love writing his DOB on forms even now

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 13/12/2011 17:30

I like that dates that add up.. Dds DOB is 04/05/09, (9/9) my wedding date is 20/08/10 so 10/10 :)

maccie · 13/12/2011 20:27

my dc2 was born 01.11.00 at 11.10. so she is my little binary babe. and dc3 just missed out as she was 05/07/07.

RaraGigglePixie · 13/12/2011 20:55

The numbers 9 & 15 feature in our family a lot.

Ds1 born 09/04/09 at 9.19am. Ds2 born 15/09/10, Dp & Ds have their birthday on the 15/07 and I'm 2/7 = 9. Our first proper home as a family was number 15, Dp and I got together 15/01/08 = 15/9.

I know you can make a pattern out of everything if you're looking for it. I really enjoyed that film "23" because of this though.

pud1 · 13/12/2011 20:59

More importantly it's my birthday

caramelwaffle · 13/12/2011 21:00

In just over an hours time it will be 13/12/11 10.09 and 08 secs

caramelwaffle · 13/12/2011 21:01

Happy Birthday

Weasleyismyking · 13/12/2011 21:04

at a little after quarter past four today the date and time read 16.15.14 13.12.11
now that would be some precise birth time!

Weasleyismyking · 13/12/2011 21:06

happy birthday pud1!

pud1 · 13/12/2011 21:10

Thank you

MyChildDoesntNeedSleepAtXmas · 13/12/2011 21:53

Ha ha. I've written the date several times today and I didn't even notice!

thepeoplesprincess · 13/12/2011 21:55

Even more importantly, it's my dd2's birthday Grin
