It doesnt fit into the holder thingy that we have. DH is insisting on sawing it and I reckon that an axe would be better. I'm right, I know I am. But he's struggling away... Hmm
Why can't he just admit i'm right??

Firstly... he's a man and this falls into the category of man topics. Therefore you should stay quiet and let him do it his way even if it is wrong. A man has to have his specialisms. Like my OH and my car. I don't really trust him with it but I smile and nod then secretly phone my dad to check Grin

Secondly... Idk if it is right or wrong. It falls into the category of stuff I don't need to know as I have an artificial tree. My OH is against cutting trees down for a 1 day celebration,

axe!

next year, take the stand with you so you pick a tree that fits it

cookielove · 11/12/2011 15:52

You have an axe Shock we do not even own a saw Blush

santastooearlymustdache · 11/12/2011 15:55

wanna borrow a breadknife, cookie?

MeltedAdventCalendarChocolates · 11/12/2011 16:00

An axe could work but would not necessarily. It could spilt the tree. Saw is a safer bet. YABU! So nerrrr.

cookielove · 11/12/2011 16:52

We may have a bread knife, although even then i am not so sure hang on i'll go check......

cookielove · 11/12/2011 16:53

Woohoo we have a bread knife!!

whats4teamum · 11/12/2011 17:26

Have just chipped away at the trunk on ours with an axe. It worked. Don't think I would have had same result with a bread knife.

cookielove · 11/12/2011 17:29

Those who have axes you must have gardens right??

santastooearlymustdache · 11/12/2011 17:30

i have a garden, but no axe..is there a link? Xmas Grin

cookielove · 11/12/2011 17:31
