Just bought our christmas tree...

It doesnt fit into the holder thingy that we have. DH is insisting on sawing it and I reckon that an axe would be better. I'm right, I know I am. But he's struggling away... Hmm
Why can't he just admit i'm right??

Firstly... he's a man and this falls into the category of man topics. Therefore you should stay quiet and let him do it his way even if it is wrong. A man has to have his specialisms. Like my OH and my car. I don't really trust him with it but I smile and nod then secretly phone my dad to check Grin

Secondly... Idk if it is right or wrong. It falls into the category of stuff I don't need to know as I have an artificial tree. My OH is against cutting trees down for a 1 day celebration,

An axe could work but would not necessarily. It could spilt the tree. Saw is a safer bet. YABU! So nerrrr.

Have just chipped away at the trunk on ours with an axe. It worked. Don't think I would have had same result with a bread knife.
