you can't 'like' another posters comment(s)? some of them are just so damn funny!

YANBU

I think being able to click like would be a great idea, especially if you've come to a thread late...or if someone says something to you and actually names you, but you don't want to quote and answer them after the thread has moved on.

MrsRhettButler · 05/12/2011 22:26

NOOOOO! All threads would consist of two fucking posts competing for 'likes'

caketop · 05/12/2011 22:27

why would they, mrsbutler?

OP posts:
MrsRhettButler · 05/12/2011 22:28

If that wasn't clear I mean on things like AIBU there would be two viewpoints and no one else would bother to post they would just like one of them.

Pleeeeeese MNHQ don't give us a like button.

MrsRhettButler · 05/12/2011 22:29

There would be a hell of a lot less actual conversation.

Kayano · 05/12/2011 22:30

We should def have a 'quote' facility on MN and the MN app though

MrsRhettButler · 05/12/2011 22:30

Think there was a thread on site stuff about this the other day, I saw it but I didn't open it so don't know the outcome.

WorraLiberty · 05/12/2011 22:32

I don't think it would kill the conversation and I'd much rather see a like button than a quote button.

hiddenhome · 05/12/2011 22:33

I used to go on Yahoo answers and they have like/dislike buttons, but you end up quite paranoid if lots of people dislike your answer. You can feel a bit miffed and anxious about it tbh [weak person emoticon]

MrsRhettButler · 05/12/2011 22:54

Yh, I was just thinking that there would have to be a dislike one too...

I don't want to be disliked.
