Don't get me wrong, I love having them up. It's the bit between them being in the attic and being up and all lovely I hate. Took me all day yesterday to put one medium sized tree up. Only 4 more to go (including the big one). :(

FOUR? Have an eff-shock from me.

I thought I was being excessive with two. I have been faffing about all morning laying out the various components in the hope that I can just chuck them at the tree with minimal effort.

I think I am getting a bit Bah Humbug...as I have not even attempted to get them out.

My dc is 13 so not such a "pleeeease mum" scenario, but I am feeling like I want them to stay in the bloody cupboard!

I quite like putting the decs up but not as much as i love taking them down on Jan 2nd. then i can really feel - right that's christmas out of the way and I can start looking forward to summer hols Xmas Grin

I can't have just one. I love them being up too much for that. :)

In my defense, I don't have any other decorations up at all. Not even Christmas cards. The big one is in the living room, where we spend Christmas.

The middle one is in the dining room where we live. The spare one we bought when we couldn't find the first 2 shortly after moving goes in the hall (my aspie brain won't let me leave it in the box). My aspie daughter has had one in her room since she was 3 to avoid aspie rage. And the 5th one is outside in the front garden so I don't miss the turning for our house in the dark. :o
