This is how DH replies when I ask why xyz hasn't been done . Don't really think he should need to be told.

Depends what xyz was surely?

AgentZigzag · 02/12/2011 21:23

What kind of things are you thinking of?

I suppose him waiting to be 'told' does insinuate he needs parenting, which isn't your role.

microcow · 02/12/2011 21:23

depends on what you're telling him hasn't been done Grin

i assume you mean housework type stuff, men generally don't notice anything that needs doing so you have to spell it out Grin

AgentZigzag · 02/12/2011 21:25

Yeah, if xyz was wiping his arse I'd be a bit miffed Grin but if it was to notice you're stressed about something and be a bit more sympathetic then you sometimes have to spell it out.

oh doesn't it drive you potty?????

and if you do tell them then you're "nagging" Hmm

Jux · 02/12/2011 21:52

"You only have to ask" over some task he's agreed to do regularly (ie, wash the seive, because I can't and he says it's easy).

So I shouldn't have to ask because he's said he will always do it and it's sitting there waiting to be done and he can see it .... Grin
