To think that Hex Bugs are Sex Bugs?!?

DS bought a Hex Bug the other day (actually a cheapie one from the pound shop). This appears to be the most pointless toy in the history of toys.

I can't figure out what it's for, unless it's really made as a secret way for teens to buy a vibrator?!? Like those vibrators for the prudish hand held electric massage devices they sell in Boots, but for a younger age group?

It was actually my DH who pointed out the possibilities, I just wanted to check on here that it's not just us that are thinking it! So glad we're not Grin

DS got one of this for Christmas - we were messing around and I shoved it down DH's pants as a joke.
