Particularly that one where the woman had a not even that interesting supermarket delivery substitution, posted a "guess what they sent me" thread and went out for half the day.

Actually I've decided I'm not unreasonable at all. Just wanted to have a moan really.

OP posts:
RightUpMyRue · 02/12/2011 14:30

I guess not.

thisoldman · 02/12/2011 14:31

I hate them roo

WeThreeKingsOfMardyBra · 02/12/2011 14:32

There's one at the moment in Chat. 45 mins and still not revealed what's gone past her window. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/1355616-OMG-Youll-never-ever-guess-what-just-passed-my-office-window?msgid=28792721

They should be banned.

I hate them as well. They are all as boring as hell.

Bourbonchops · 02/12/2011 14:34

If they go off out for the day YANBU. That is annoying. But I quite like some of those threads. I never guess correctly though. Xmas Angry

Anniegetyourgun · 02/12/2011 14:34

Are any of the answers worth waiting for, ever?

WeThreeKingsOfMardyBra · 02/12/2011 14:35

Actually there is one big exception. Psammead did a very sweet POAS one.

OP posts:
LadyBeagleBaublesAndBells · 02/12/2011 14:36

They go on forever don't they?
I get so bored with them I really don't give a shit after the second page and click off.

grovel · 02/12/2011 14:36

Bet you can't guess what I'm thinking...........

WeThreeKingsOfMardyBra · 02/12/2011 14:37

Grovel - you are thinking that I am not being unreasonable.

Insomnia11 · 02/12/2011 14:37

I also hate it when people post things like "Really pissed off" on Facebook. Either spill all of it, or don't bother.

WeThreeKingsOfMardyBra · 02/12/2011 14:41

I take it back about the 45 minutes. She did reveal it but people are still guessing anyway. Confused

Anyway I still don't like them. MNHQ can we have a mardy emoticon?

OP posts:
kreechergotstuckupthechimney · 02/12/2011 14:45

YANBU even though I joined in her guessing thread.
Guess what I am having for my tea tonight. Go on guess....................

grovel · 02/12/2011 14:50

WeThreeKings. 100% correct. How on earth did you know?

kreecher. Tripe.

kreechergotstuckupthechimney · 02/12/2011 14:53

Nope although I am in tripe country.
Try again. We've got a visitor from school coming home with us. Feeding a 10 and a 9 YO.

grovel · 02/12/2011 14:55

Maybe I meant your post was tripe?

Feckin pizza, then.

kreechergotstuckupthechimney · 02/12/2011 14:56

Ok, you get a prize, it is pizza.
Was my post tripe?

grovel · 02/12/2011 14:57

Yipee and no.

WinterIsComing · 02/12/2011 14:59

I'm not sure if YABU.

You'll have to guess.

All of you.

I'll be back this time next year to let you know.

ISawPINOTSnoggingSantaClaus · 02/12/2011 15:03

An elephant went past my office window once. In the middle of London. Honestly. It was for some event in the playground of the nearest primary school, apparently. About the most interesting thing I saw out of that window in a decade or so.

Er, should I have dragged that out over 5 pages or so?

Anniegetyourgun · 02/12/2011 15:09

too many "or so's" Blush

MildlyNarkyPuffin · 02/12/2011 15:14

YABU. They're brilliant. Especially the ones where the OP gets involved in real life stuff and comes back two hours later to discover 100s of MNers waiting for the reveal.

The go and look in a mirror one was awesome.
