DW had surgery today; the fifth in two years and she has trouble with anaesthetics.

And it has all gone well and I can see her briefly tonight. And bring her home to be spoilt and fussed over tomorrow or Wednesday.

Lovely post! Yes definitely spoil her - I've had surgery twice in the last 18 months or so (including one caesarean) and I also have trouble with anaesthetics so I know how horrible it is and how lovely it is to be made a fuss of after!

Just to mention, if dh was going to spoil me coming home there'd be a gorgeous home cooked meal for a good few evenings and a looooong time before I saw any ironing!

DS is a superb cook and the iron is locked away where she can't find it :o

I'll give my pompoms a shake for people coming through surgery any day of the week:)

I had good news today as well. My father got the all clear from his consultant. A massive relief. :)

You must have been so worried. Glad everything went well. As well as spoiling your DW rotten maybe you should show her this thread. It would certainly give me a boost to know I'm so well cared for. Enjoy being back together. x
