DW had surgery today; the fifth in two years and she has trouble with anaesthetics.

And it has all gone well and I can see her briefly tonight. And bring her home to be spoilt and fussed over tomorrow or Wednesday.

This comes to you from the happiest MNer on the forum :)

Lovely post! Yes definitely spoil her - I've had surgery twice in the last 18 months or so (including one caesarean) and I also have trouble with anaesthetics so I know how horrible it is and how lovely it is to be made a fuss of after!

AnyFucker · 28/11/2011 20:41

Oh, I remember you mentioning that this was coming up

Glad DW's op went well

Best of luck to both of you Wine

ChaosTrulyReigns · 28/11/2011 20:46

LittleCatonkeyonadustyroad · 28/11/2011 20:47

Lovely post, enjoy spoiling her!

JoyceDivision · 28/11/2011 20:55

Lovely post, pleased your dw is doing ok.

Just to mention, if dh was going to spoil me coming home there'd be a gorgeous home cooked meal for a good few evenings and a looooong time before I saw any ironing!

And a nice bit of clobber from joules or somejewellery from Tatty Devine..

Andrewofgg · 28/11/2011 20:57

DS is a superb cook and the iron is locked away where she can't find it :o

You must have been so worried. Glad everything went well. As well as spoiling your DW rotten maybe you should show her this thread. It would certainly give me a boost to know I'm so well cared for. Enjoy being back together. x

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 28/11/2011 22:31
