Am I being unreasonable to shop somewhere else. They have just removed the black Friday discount because it took so long to check out.
Their system having a massive strop about my re-entering my address which was already correct.

Amazon is my guilty pleasure. It is so, so cheap but I did feel very bad when the only real bookshop in my town (WHSmiths doesn't count) closed down this year. I used to love going in there because the staff loved their jobs (or were very good actors!), could talk to me about the books, always had a recommendation and didn't mind me reading half the book before I bought it.

I draw the line at a Kindle though.

Reality me too lol

I don't see amazon recommends as any different to the recommendation tables in the book shop... You don't have to look at only them

Well, I ordered DD1 a CD from there on Saturday, it arrived yesterday. I opened it today and found that the case is all mangled and cracked. You open the case and the front falls off so I'm not overjoyed atm with them. Also, their returns policy seems to be a right faff.

Generally though, I can't fault them, especially when it comes to my lovely shiny Kindle Grin

I LOVE my Kindle (hubby got it for me for our anniversary Grin)... and buy loads from amazon... it is so handy... and helps too with buying for family overseas. I have sent back a couple of items over the years and have had full refunds with no hassles.

Im loving Amazon right now, I just bought a christmas present for DS that would've cost me £40 for £20 on a lightening deal!

Kayano · 24/11/2011 13:48
