to think this is double standards

Sorry can't do links but in an old thread an op was slated because she (I assume) thought it odd that SAHP should have paid help with housework. No one thought that a person in that position was lazy.
Yet a recent thread where a part time worker wanted a little bit of assistance from dh with house/family life was lazy.

Exactly mumsnet is not a hive mind it's loads of individuals with conflicting opinions. For any given subject it's luck of the draw whose opinion you get.

I have only ever met one person with paid help and she is a millionaire. Most people jus t get on with all of it whether at home, part time or full time
