I know some threads are posted just to get a reaction and are unlikely to be true. Although I would never do this, AIBU to think about what mine would be and what you would post if you did this? Mine would be:

My MIL is unhappy that I won't let her bring her dog to our wedding. She says she won't come if she can't bring the dog as he is her "baby". I don't want the dog to come as it might poo and although my MIL will clean it up she is an old biddy and will take her time doing this...

10 posts later - also my DS has autism and will probably put his hand in any dog poo before I have a chance to stop him...

10 posts later - And the dog has been known to bite toddlers, of whom there will be quite a few at my wedding. My MIL won't put the dog on a lead as it is cruel.

Are you asking if YABU to troll?

Er, yes, YABU to troll unless it is very funny.

Andrewofgg · 18/11/2011 17:50

And this is very funny!

worraliberty · 18/11/2011 17:53

Ok, I was going to ask you this the other day OP but I couldn't be bothered Grin

What is it with your AIBU threads lately?

They all seem to be slagging off MN?

lisad123 · 18/11/2011 17:55

Well I find jokes about autism out of line!! Sorry but when is it funny to make fun of disabled children??!

SuePurblybiltbyElves · 18/11/2011 17:55

I do not get the point of this at all.

lesley33 · 18/11/2011 18:36

It is not a joke about autism. Trolls though usually outline a situation that sounds out of line and then drip feed later on an SN issue that makes the OP seem reasonable after all.

worraliberty - Oh dear, I have just started another one! I think it is because I am a bit addicted to mumsnet and spend too long on here and actually rarely get annoyed about things in rl.

Do you mean something totally made up or a real-life scenario that either sounds improbable or can be told in such a way as to get a reaction?

Carry on, OP we need more details to judge you properly Grin

lisaro · 18/11/2011 18:49

Oops - meant OP

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDoom · 18/11/2011 19:09

You need a bridesmaid with ishoos over the dress and shoes and who pays for them too OP. And a guest list dilemma, and a breastfed baby at the reception which is held in a very expensive hotel miles from anywhere.
