People referring to school age children as '..r baby..' why oh why? Is this just a Liverpool thing?

My uncle still calls me 'baby' but pronounced 'babby' I'm 28. It's a northern thing.

Doesnt bother me!

It's like my Cousin is my 'little cousin' he's 6'8.

And people refer to grown up siblings as 'our kid'

DS1 (7.4) IS my baby! Even he says so, and I'm in the South. Plus DB is my baby brother, he's 24!
