I love her. I do, I think I've got a girl crush.

I know she's smug (I have to contend with DH's sneering the whole way through), I know she's overly dramatic and I know it's a bit suss that she's won a few of the contests she's entered even though she's a total novice and there are people a whole lot better than her...

But I love her. Everyone has to be quiet whilst a watch it.

Even though she is one of those terribly posh people who pretend to middle class and the slightly smug thing, I secretly do love a bit of Kirsty.

I pretend to DH that I watch it with disdain but I am loving it.

Oh my God - the relief when you realise you are not tragic and sad alone! I want to wear wrap dresses, talk in a posh voice and do cross stitch whilst loving myself because I have a Kitchen Aids Artisan Mixer and a Land Rover. Kirsty is fab ... I think I need to wee :)

I am jealous of Kirsty and want to go to county shows, craft, make jam, bake, arrange flowers, be a member of the women's institute, be married to a farmer / vet, open my garden to the public for charity and do my shopping in the village store.
I want to be Sarah Beany too.

I love her, and she gives me hope now that i am living in the countryside.
I know it's all pastiche, but i love her enthusiasm.

I also covet her cherry red landrover and think i may even try the floral dress and welly combo!!

Am also enjoying the series, is giving me lots of ideas for christmas presents that I want to start crafts I won't have the time to do!

It is also Kirsty that alerted me to the fact that I was pregnant, I knew there was something amiss when I cried when she won the cake competition, I was a little bit !!!
