... a new power shower? Old one was in en suite when we moved in. We are refitting bathroom because a) of the big chunk knocked out of sink
, b) it is minging peach-coloured and orrible generally, c) there's no radiator in there and the plaster's rotten, so it all needs taking back anyway.
The power shower is all limescaled-up and needs replacing too. I got a bit of a
look from the plumber when I said I wanted it replaced with the same sort of shower, rather than a pathetic electric one, like in the other bathroom. I like a decent, powerful shower. I hate the feeble, lukewarm dribble that the other one does. Looking online to find out why power showers are suddenly verboten, I find that they can use up to 14 litres of water per minute!
(though I'm sure ours doesn't use that much)
And yet I still want one.
I never have baths (last one was a year ago when I had to sit in some lavendery hot water for post-partum healing), I shower very quickly. In and out in under 5 mins. Normally more like 3. AIBU to post the most boring AIBU post ever to pretend I didn't know about the water wastage issue and get one anyway?
