I know a lot of people are vain but my goodness Tamara takes the biscuit, anyone see the programme on her last night, where she saw a specialist about her tiny 'normal' spot on her chin, AIBU or she seriously that vain?

Bloody ridiculous wasn't it? Oh to have a teeny tiny spot like that every month instead of my Mount Kilamanjaro lookey likey slight exaggeration

I'm Blush to admit that I saw a bit of this show last night, before I fell asleep with boredom. That visit to a Harley Street specialist (!!) about a zit was hilarious!!!!!
The bit at the Harrod's dog groomers was Shock

I wonder if Tamara will ever discover the delights of PusPorn?! Grin

YANBU to laugh at Tamara Ecclestone.

I can be a bit squeamish at times but it does make me wonder how people who are born into/choose that kind of lifestyle cope with things like, you know, periods!

Trills · 05/11/2011 14:45

YAB a bit U to laugh at someone for doing what seems to me to be totally logical.

The train of though presumably goes like this:

^I have something on my skin that I don't like
I also have a lot of money
There are people who will, in exchange for money, make my skin nicer
It is important for my job that I look good and feel confident about my looks
Therefore I will go to one of these people and give them money in return for making my skin nicer and making me feel better about my skin^

Makes perfect sense to me.

Or is there a minimum level of spottiness that you have to have before spending your own money on getting rid of the spots?

madmomma · 05/11/2011 19:43

I found it hilarious how she was seriously considering standing up QVC in order to have a tiny spot injected for about a million quid. Not exactly business-minded is she? Hasn't she heard of concealer?!

LynetteScavo · 05/11/2011 19:54

I'm sorry, what is her job?

CotherMuckingFunt · 05/11/2011 19:57

I can totally understand where she's coming from . Her 'career' is astonishing and she has done so much for humanity that I can see why she feels the need to look perfect all the time. She is a shining example of the human race at its best.

I also have perfectly pert tits and I 24 inch waste.

ahem.

Trills · 05/11/2011 20:01

She's listed as a model and TV presenter, presumably she thinks it's a job.

I didn't watch the TV thing in question (as you can probably tell), just think it's a bit mean to laugh at someone for what you have said she did.
