Just been shopping in Asda and they have all the Wellie's out on a rack.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell of rubber, especially now pregnant.

WIBU to buy a cheap pair just to sniff them now and again Blush

Was lingering in the aisle taking nice deep breathes and getting some strange looks of people.

Strange looks you say? Do you know - I cannot for the life of me imagine why!

But Menopausal You have to admit that rubber smells lush.

Wonder what it would taste like if I had a little lick of it Grin

I love the smell of the tube stations...that funny burning smell.

When preggers...it was fire lighters (I used to chew them and spit them out Blush

Pregnancy 2...it was freshly laid tarmac...to the constant bewilderment of the workmen at 6am laying my road Grin

MzPixielated · 03/11/2011 21:49

i got myself a cheapy hot water bottle for this reason :)

MenopausalHaze · 03/11/2011 21:50

Oh no no no - it does so not smell lush!!! It smells of - errrr - rubber! Wrong on so many levels!

SacreLao · 03/11/2011 21:54

Oooh I didn't think of a hot water bottle.

crazy I LOVE tarmac, the inconsiderate bastard council NEVER tarmac in this area though.

I wish I could just casually walk past and sniff it every now and again.

Weirdo.

crazynanna · 03/11/2011 21:57

SacreLao I would put on my alarm for 6am,and sit on my wall with fluffy slippers, cup of tea and a very large belly, smiling at confused workmen saying "Don't mind me!" Grin

SacreLao · 03/11/2011 22:00

Crazy Am giggling at the image of a pregnant lady in her dressing gown watching the workmen :o

Did you take a little deck chair, comfort first and all that.

Am now trying to convince my OH that the DC need new wellie's, not falling for it sadly :(

No little chair,SacreLao,but my other thing was sitting in the local petrol station,on an upside down fire bucket Wink
How the men in white coats never carted me away,I will never know!

When I was pregnant it was my new leather boots and new carpet that did it for me.

The blokes in the carpet shop used to get all excited when I went in - to be fair, I ordered new carpet once but kept going in for a sniff!
