to want to cry?

I know I am but....

Bloody fecking tumble dryer broke a week ago. DP took it apart and then ordered new belt and stuff and has just spent 3 hours fixing it and it still doesn't work! My kitchen is filthy, he's scratched our oven, I haven't been able to have any dinner cos he's been in the way and I've had to listen to him swearing all night.

All on a night I really wanted to relax as work is such a nightmare at the moment. Part of me is angry and part of me is proud of him for giving it a go. But really I just want to cry. I just want things to go right for a change - so far this year we've already had to replace a car and washing machine and have the dishwasher repaired (not that I'm bothered about the dishwasher but he is).

Ho hum...

Can you order a takeaway and have a Wine at least?? There's nothing you can do until he's out of the way anyway...

He's finished now and its doesnt work - he's gone to the shop for beer cos he's pissed off so I told him to get me something to eat!

I can completely sympathise...our washing machine...dishwasher & kettle all went in two days!!! I'm now poorer for having them all fixed/replaced but it was a bloody nightmare!!

I don't blame you, have a good sob!

I've had the same, we were homeless 6mnths and by the time we were re-homed and got our stuff from safe store our washing machine had gone caput, our oven (luckily house had one fitted) the kettle, and several of the dcs larger toys had severe battery errosion, then a week later the car had a heart attack, thanks to an amazing friend selling us there's on a month by month payment we replaced and then the exhaust fell of that bugger! Oh and dd broke my phone twice.

Technology, can't live with it, can't live without it!

Where abouts are you, I know of someone shifting a dryer x
