Seriously, my eyebrows are like bushes, I've got a moustache, my armpit hair is going wild, my lady garden is more like a small arable farm than a garden and is fast spreading downward to meet the goat like fringe around my cankles and I have hairy toes!
If I wasn't a catpuss, I'd make a damned fine troll!

A few of my Asian friend prety much get waxed from just under the boobs to everything below, including arms, and for facial stuff they have threading.

If you find a waxist that works with lots of Asian ladies, it will be perfectly normal for them.

Dear god, I'd be mortified to actually show it all to anyone! Shock

Have your eyebrows and tache threaded, the regrowth is very slow and it isnt as painful as waxing.

LordOfTheFlies · 02/11/2011 10:12

Ooooh you'll be in for a long, not to mention expensive (if you go to a salon) trip .

Do you wax at home? It's easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I fid hot wax is better than those pre-wax strips.(I like the Veet in the microwave stuff with the papery strips)

Exfoliate first a couple of times, put on a dust of talcum to help it stick.

I CBA waxing my legs, I use an epilator, but wax for my armpits.
I don't wax my lip unless I have to (get tiny spots after)
Eyebrows are all but a memory, bit over zealous in teens/twenties.

I've got dark hair and pale skin. And my DD is very fluffy. In a few years I will have to wax her Shock

Threading isn't as painful and waxing???? Then I've had it done wrong! I've been threaded twice and OMG the pain. I would equate it to the difference between pulling the plaster off quickly (waxing) or slowly (threading). Give me short and sharp any day

But then, I'm a total wimp

MarieFromStMoritz · 02/11/2011 12:38

I have the following waxed:

Eyebrows
Upper lip
Face
Chin
Underarms
Full arms (including fingers)
Bikini
Half legs (including toes).

I feel so much better for it.

MrBloomsNursery · 02/11/2011 12:42

Learn how to thread yourself. It's really easy and very economical with no mess. I just whip out the thread when I see stray hairs on my eyebrows/face and I'm done.

Once your get good at it, you can start threading your legs too - The regrowth is amazingly slow and the more you do it, the less it hurts.

MarieFromStMoritz · 02/11/2011 12:45

Can you give us a lesson? It looks so complicated. I would love to be able to do my own threading Smile

PreviouslyonLost · 02/11/2011 13:31

Flash mob regional MN Wax bookings required...Groupon et al could have a discount on a mass of hairy beauties awaiting their fuzz off, where do I sign up?

Only local beauty salon pricey, and can't get an appointment anyway for love nor money...hirsute PoL as a result

two4one · 02/11/2011 13:40

No excuse for not getting someone to thread/wax your brows and lip. Do it.

Then shave the rest yourself. It's nearly winter, nobody will see most of your body now till spring anyway.

The face is important though - get it done.

Haggyoldclothbatspus · 02/11/2011 15:09

Nobody EVER sees my body! except DP and Dcs when I walk round the house in the nude

TenderlyLovinglyByAGoat · 02/11/2011 15:13

I have SEEN you, not naked of course, and none of what you say about your face is true so pull yourself together!

TenderlyLovinglyByAGoat · 02/11/2011 15:15

(I have had chin waxed before btw, still comes through like marine rope!)

TenderlyLovinglyByAGoat · 02/11/2011 15:16

(found threading insanely painful, waxing much less so but everyone different)

Haggyoldclothbatspus · 02/11/2011 16:40

Grin @ marine rope! Yes, that's the first thing I thought about you too! Chin hair like marine rope!
