...for getting three dc to bed and asleep by five past seven after a rubbish day that began before five this morning? I might have chocolate now...

Wine Well done! There's such a feeling of accomplishment about it isn't there Grin

PanicMode · 01/11/2011 19:13

I've done it with four and a day that started at 04.45 - so can we celebrate together?

(I'm actually already celebrating with a G&T!)

Familydilemma · 01/11/2011 19:14

Thank you. Suspicious raising of the grow bagged legs and whimpers distracting me slightly. More milk! Back in a jiffy!

YANBU! And Panicmode, you have just reminded me I have wine in the fridge. Happy evening all!

Well done! To jump on the self-congratulatory bandwagon, my DS has just settled himself for about the 4th time in his year long life so am feeling very chuffed about that! Plus am also tending a DH with manflu serious cold like illness so deserve extra chocolate brownie points for not just pointing him in the direction of the Sudafed and tell him to man up pull himself together!

auntiepicklebottom2 · 01/11/2011 19:19

3 dc = 3 glasses of wine as a treat

Familydilemma · 01/11/2011 19:19

Smile worrisome heart-well done you!

Well done Worrisome Heart - extra brownie points indeed. I am sniggering here because DH has been diagnosed with gout this evening (seriously!!) after a few days in Switzerland existing almost exclusively on coffee and alcohol.....

I think that my G&T, made by gouty DH, must have been a double - can barely type after half a glass!

Familydilemma · 01/11/2011 19:21

Ooh-maybe i'll have another dc just for the extra wine..Wink

My dd is asleep on the sofa. She's 16. Can I join in? I have a whole crate of Wine

Familydilemma · 01/11/2011 19:23

I think I have hangover phobia! Can't touch a drop at the moment for fear of the next morning. But there's a bag of maltesers with my name on it! And dd2 gone off again-phew!

Mind you virtual wine = no hangover?
